I have listened to this song about 5 times already and its a beautiful song. The writer and singer of this song Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with a very rare kind of cancer, and only had a few months to live. he didn't know how to express himself about his situation so he turned to music and he created an absolutely wonderful song. It really makes you think about what is important in life. I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself for not having a girlfriend and where my life currently is but there is so much more to life than that. You need to live everyday like it's your last because you never know what is going to happen. Zach passed away recently and he was only 19 years old. It pains me to know bad things happen to such good people and there are bad people who have good things happen to them. This song really hit a chord with me and I hope I can live my life to the fullest, not partying and getting wasted but trying make other peoples days better and not holding onto anger and always remember that there are things you can't control and have to leave it in the hands of God, fate, destiny whatever you want to believe but every night when my head hits the pillow I want to make sure I've done everything I could to have led the best day possible.

The Great Gatsby
The book "The Great Gatsby" is one of my favorite books of all time. For those of you who have not had the privilege of reading this book must read it. It is about young love in a sense. Jay Gats is a poor man who is in love with a wealthy girl Daisy. They meet while he is enlisted in the war. He acts the part of a very wealthy man to a T and tells daisy to wait for him until he returns from war. Well the day comes and the war is over and he does not return. She waits and waits and waits for him but he does not return. She then falls for another wealthy man Tom Buchannon and he constantly cheats on her, and embarrasses her. A new person arrives in New York (where daisy lives) and he throws his money about throwing party after party. It turns out his name is Jay Gatsby recently rich and people faun for him. Well needless to say there is much more that goes on and I don't want to give away any spoilers. but what I do want to talk about is the movie. Leonardo DiCaprio is to me one of the very best actors of our generation and displays it again. He gets lost in the roll and becomes this Gatsby. Tobey McGuire is sensational as Nick Carraway who befriends Gatsby and comes to adore who he is. He loves the hope that Gatsby has. Daisy (Played by Carey Mulligan) is radiant and makes you fall in love so quick with who she is and at the same time hate her.
As the story unfolds the audience is caught up in Gatsby doing everything he can to woo Daisy. The elaborate things Gatsby does speaks volumes to the love he has for her, and you find yourself rooting for the encounter between the long lost lovers to finally take place. When it finally happens and Gatsby starts courting Daisy you aren't involved. It was more the chase everyone was excited for and when he finally got her it was almost anti-climatic. But Gatsby is frustrated with them keeping their love a secret and wanted Daisy to come clean about their relationship. Just like any married woman getting action on the side she didn't want too. She was afraid of the ramifications. it is truly an amazing story and enjoyed it very much. the way the movie was shot gave some people doubt about how good the movie was going to be. It was shot in soft focus more about the vibrant colors and really made the scenes pop. It was very grand scale kind of movie with the elaborate parties and extravagant cars. Almost had a comic book feel to it. I loved the movie, I thought it was masterful and even though the movie wasn't released during award season should still get critical acclaim. I am going to see this again and Leonardo DiCaprio proved why he is one of the best actors out.

Soul Surfer Helps with the Block
So i am sitting in my room, trying to write my way out of the corner i put myself, and it is hard! i mean i have deleted 20 pages or so trying to figure something out. But i can't, no matter what i've tried nothing seems to work. I need to vent so the 20 people who read this a day please bare with me. there is a point in here i promise. well at least i think there is. But while sitting here trying to break through this invisible barrier i was flipping through the channels and came across the movie soul surfer. For those of you who don't know Soul Surfer is a movie about a young girl who is on the verge of becoming a professional surfer when she has a terrible accident. A shark bites her left arm off and she struggles with everyday activities. despite the odds against her she prevails and surfs in competition and wins! it is truly an amazing story and makes you realize the important things in life. this trivial problem i have about not being able to write my out of this block. once i realized how meaningless my block was i was able to navigate my way to a completed chapter and 32 pages! i will put the chapters up here in a bit but i just wanted everyone to remember what is important in life. Don't take anything for granted and live your life with honesty, love, and excitement!!!

Hyde Park On Hudson
On my lunch today at work i was walking around wallmart for some odd reason and ended in the movie section. of course i had to buy one, Django Unchained was a given so i picked that up and on my way to pay for it this movie caught my eye. "Hyde Park On Hudson". I saw this trailer awhile ago and wanted to see this so bad, but it was limited in release and it kind of slipped my mind with all that i have going on. But i saw it and had to buy it!! I can't wait to get home and watch this movie. This is a movie about FDR and how he invited the king and queen of england to the United States. (their first visit ever) it looked amazing and FDR is one of my favorite presidents. If any of you get a chance to watch this please do. Hell i'll let you borrow it!!
