Girl of My Dreams

There is something special to me about girls who can snowboard. And it may not even be completly limited to snowboarding but all girls who are athletic. Everyone gets this misconception that skinny girls are the only girls who are attractive and I say with my whole heart and eyes, that is completely false. To me I am attracted to girls with great smiles first and foremost, then personality. I am no prize to be won but anyone who feels they are better than anyone else or finds the need to belittle other people have low self esteem and need to do everything in their power to make themselves feel better. It's really sad when you think about it. I digress, athletic girls understand what it's like to be an athlete to compete at a high level and while it might be over for mostly everyone the competitive drive is still there. When I find my dream girl I want her to challenge me both emotionally, phsically, and mentally. I want to argue, voice my opinion and so forth. I don't want  to start fights or anything like that but to be able to argue and not always giving in to whatever the girl says. That's not healthy and anyone who lives like that is going to be miserable. Marriage and relationships are hard work and you have be able to compromise and find middle ground, if you always get your way you're not growing as a person and if you have to try and be something your not to please a girl, then more likely then not she isn't the one for you. But that's just something I had been thinking about for awhile. I hope this reaches more than my eyes and gives inspiration to challenge your significant other (not in a bad way)

Harvard Baseball Call Me Maybe

To me this is one of the funniest videos I have seen on youtube in a very long time. As an ex college baseball player I know how long some van rides can be and for them to do this speaks to how creative most baseball players are. We all enjoy having fun and don't mind making fools of ourselves. well done Harvard baseball team, over 9 million views in less than a month that is something to be proud of. I may have to download this song now.

Time Is Running Out On Kobe

Kobe is playing in his 17th season in the NBA and he has been playing at an Elite level for most of those years. But is it coming to an end? In some way yes it is. Kobe isn't the young gun anymore and it is showing in the OKC series. He is pushing himself really hard to just keep his head above water. He is mentally drained at the end of every game (hence the two crucial turnovers in the final 2 minutes of Game 2) I still feel he will be the Kobe everyone has come to enjoy watching win impossible shots. I think it's going to be a lot less consistent though. He's a competitor and he will come out in game 3 and have one hell of a game. Do I think the Lakers have a chance to win this series abolutely. When you have Kobe on your team anything is possible. But from a realist stand point the Thunder are just far more athletic and have a deeper bench that will be crucial in games 5 and 6 and I see the Lakers losing this series in 6 games.

Pujols Still the Best Hitter In Baseball

Everyone needs to lay off this man for a little bit. He is going through a funk. Everyone is so quick to get on him for taking the huge contract, but how many people would turn down that money? It's everyone's fault for the enourmous contracts to all athletes. Teachers, Firefighters, Police Officers are the ones who can use the money more than anyone else. The only thing most athletes show us is how to blow through almost all of your money, or use your money to buy your way out of trouble. But I am writing this post because there is a lot that goes into hitting. He is seeing new arms playing in different parks and has to make an adjustment to teammates coaches and so forth. He is by far the best hitter in the game and he will break out of his slump. You don't average 44 Hr's a year for 11 years by accident. He will be back to his old self and everyone needs to lay off him. I could more in depths about the art of hitting but that would bore the one lone person who comes to this blog. so until next time ENJOY IT!!!
